Why won’t my DockATot Tent of Dreams tent open all the way?

If you are having difficulty spreading the poles until they are evenly spaced, take the following steps:

1)    Raise the fabric – Pull the fabric up at the top of the tent if it has slipped down. The fabric may prevent the poles from spreading completely if it has dropped too far.
2)    Loosen the cord – Try loosening the cord at the top of the tent. This should make it easier to spread out the poles. After loosening, make sure that the cord is re-secured with a strong knot.
